The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Karavali Institute of Technology is not only making available a strong pedestal but also to give exposure about the most modern communication technological trends like mobile technology, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, Bluetooth, VLSI, Embedded system, Image Processing, Computer Networks necessary to endure in the Industrial Sector. The department has the best infrastructural facilities with spacious and well furnished Seminar Halls, class rooms, tutorial rooms and laboratories and teaching aids like OHPs, LCD projectors and charts. All the laboratories are very well equipped and managed by well trained and experienced laboratory technicians to impart the best practical oriented training to the students. The department has a spacious library with reference and borrowing books to specifically cater to the needs of pre final and final year students. Top priority is accorded to regular technical seminars, orientation programs, expert lectures, workshops and institute sponsored projects.

Field of Study
An Electronics & Communication Engineer must find new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives. An electronics engineer will work in team with other specialists to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacture of complex products and systems i.e. electronic equipments and components for a number of industries including hospitals, computer industry, electronic data processing systems for communication and in defense etc.
They supervise production and manufacturing processes and oversee installation and maintenance. Electronics engineers work with devices that use extremely small amounts of power. They work with microprocessors, fibre optics, and in telecommunication, television, radio etc.
